Spraymation, the leading manufacturer of Automatic Test Panel Spray Machines, has supplied equipment to the majority of automotive manufacturers, coating formulators and testing laboratories throughout the world.

The original Spraymation Test Panel Spray Machine was the Electric Paintbrush. This basic painting machine has been produced for over 30 years. Most of the original machines are still in service today.

A modern version of the Electric Paintbrush is now available, for users who require spraying a limited number of test panels.

The machine has a 22 1/2 inch painting stoke. The traverse speed may be adjusted, using a hand crank, over a range of 200 to 1800 inches per minute. It is designed to coat a single 4 X 12 inch panel that is supported on the moving magnetic holder.

Operation is simple. First the operator sets up the spray gun to get the desired flow rate and spray pattern. The spray gun is then fastened to a stationary support bar. Next the operator places the panel on the magnetic holder. The machine is switched on and the panel moves back and forth horizontally in front of the spray gun. The operator manually triggers the spray gun as the panel passes.

The machine corrects 3 of the most common manual spraying problems:

1.	Uniform and consistent speed of application for each stroke is assured.
2.	Uniform distance between spray gun and target panel is maintained.
3.	Spray pattern is applied perpendicularly to the target panel in a straight line motion.

The machine is available in two styles, one table top and the other with a stand on castors to allow easy movement.
