LUBRICATION SYSTEMS
When lubricant film consistency matters — when overspray creates safety hazards, when missed coverage causes equipment wear, when production environments demand cleaner alternatives to flood lubrication — Spraymation industrial spray lubrication systems deliver. Our Electromatic™ applicators dispense oils, silicones, release agents, and specialty lubricants with the controlled precision that eliminates waste, improves workplace safety, and stays in service for decades.
Conventional lubrication methods — manual brushing, flood application, drip systems, basic mist sprayers — create real problems on modern production lines. Oil mist contaminates plant air and creates slip hazards. Overspray drives up material costs and contaminates products. Inconsistent coverage causes premature equipment wear and unexpected downtime. Manual application introduces operator variability that quality systems can’t tolerate. And flood lubrication wastes far more material than it uses.
Spraymation automatic spray lubrication systems are engineered specifically to eliminate these problems. The patented Electromatic™ applicator at the heart of every system has only one moving part, no dynamic seals to degrade, all-stainless-steel wetted parts, and a positive dripless shut-off that prevents the drool and contamination that plague conventional lubrication applicators. Air-atomization and airless configurations let you tune spray patterns from fine mist to wet coat, applying exactly the right amount of lubricant exactly where it’s needed.
The result is industrial lubrication equipment that uses dramatically less material, creates a cleaner and safer work environment, delivers consistent film coverage every cycle, and stays in production for decades rather than years — typically paying for itself in 6 to 18 months from material savings alone.
Controlled spray application uses a fraction of the material flood lubrication, brush application, or basic mist systems consume.
Controlled atomized application reduces airborne mist, improves air quality, and eliminates slip-hazard accumulation.
Integral solenoid actuation delivers millisecond repeatability for consistent film coverage every cycle, every shift.
Pattern-controlled automated application removes the manual variation that quality systems can’t tolerate.
Spraymation offers a complete family of industrial spray lubrication systems, configured for the specific lubricant, target geometry, and production environment of your application. Each system pairs the right Electromatic™ applicator with the right fluid handling and controls for the lubricant you need to apply.
Air-atomized automatic spray applicator that applies precise amounts of low-viscosity lubricants at room temperature. Produces spray patterns ranging from a fine mist for light coatings to a heavy wet coat for full coverage, by mixing air and lubricant at the spray head. Ideal for bakery pan oiling, food-grade release agent application, embossing roller oiling, and any lubrication application requiring controlled atomized coverage rather than localized drops.

From Material Savings Alone
Return on Investment
Most customers transitioning from flood lubrication, manual brushing, or basic mist systems see lubricant consumption reductions large enough to pay back the spray lubrication system within 6 to 18 months. Beyond direct material savings, controlled spray lubrication typically reduces cleanup overhead, lowers slip-hazard risk, and extends equipment life — all of which add to the operational ROI.

Quick answers to the questions we get most often about Spraymation industrial spray lubrication systems, ROI calculations, and food-grade and non-contact applications.
Don’t see your question? Our engineering team responds within one business day.
Our industrial spray lubrication systems handle a broad range of materials including light and heavy oils, silicone lubricants from 1,000 cPs to 12,500 cPs, food-grade release agents, water-based lubricants, surfactants, specialty release oils for baking, dry-film lubricants, and similar fluids. Capability depends on the specific applicator configuration — air-atomized Electromatic™ XXIV applicators handle low-viscosity fluids at room temperature, while heated silicone configurations handle higher-viscosity lubricants with platinum RTD temperature control. If you have a specific lubricant chemistry, our engineering team can confirm compatibility and recommend the right configuration.
Material savings depend on your current method and application, but typical customers transitioning from flood lubrication, manual brushing, or basic mist systems see lubricant consumption reductions large enough to pay back the spray lubrication system within 6 to 18 months. Beyond direct material savings, controlled spray lubrication typically reduces cleanup overhead, lowers slip-hazard risk, and extends equipment life — all of which add to the operational ROI.
Yes. Several of our spray lubrication configurations are specifically designed for non-contact application — particularly our coaxial internal mix applicators and our narrow-pattern Electromatic™ 9, 19, and 29 silicone sprayers. Non-contact lubrication is essential for medical device manufacturing, articulated robotics, and other sensitive applications where physical contact between the applicator and the target is impossible or undesirable.
Yes. Spraymation spray lubrication systems are widely used across food and bakery production for pan greasing, release agent application, food-grade oil spraying, and similar applications. Controlled atomized application dramatically reduces the oil mist and overspray that conventional bakery lubrication creates — improving air quality, reducing slip hazards, and lowering cleanup overhead. The materials of construction and stainless-steel wetted parts are compatible with food-grade lubricants and release agents.
Yes. Used with appropriate spray nozzles or extrusion tips and a Spraymation 3480 Pattern Controller or 3400 Series DC Timer, Electromatic™ applicators deliver measured lubricant doses, controlled application patterns, timed pulses, and synchronized application across multiple points with 0.1 ms timing resolution. For applications requiring precise dose measurement — including medical device lubrication — our silicone applicators dispense amounts as small as 0.25 mg with the dose-to-dose repeatability that regulated environments require.
Yes — custom spray lubrication systems are a core part of what we do. We routinely build lubrication systems for unusual lubricant chemistries, atypical target geometries, articulated robotics integration, multi-point simultaneous application, hazardous-location environments, and one-of-a-kind production requirements that off-the-shelf equipment can’t address. Send us your lubricant specifications, target geometry, line configuration, and application requirements and our engineering team will recommend a solution.
The Electromatic™ design dramatically simplifies maintenance — the entire fluid section can be removed and replaced as a unit in seconds without taking the applicator off the line, and there are no packings or dynamic seals to degrade and replace. We maintain an extensive inventory of spare parts and supplies, offer factory rebuild and applicator exchange programs, and provide remote technical support by phone, email, and Zoom, with on-site service available when needed. For critical applications, we recommend recertification of every applicator every three years.
In most cases, yes. The 3480 Pattern Controller and 3400 Series DC Timers accept inputs from passive contacts, DC voltage signals, photocells, and open collectors, which covers the vast majority of production line control architectures. For specialized control integration — including synchronized multi-point lubrication, articulated robotics integration, or hazardous-location installations — our engineering team can design custom control packages.
