HEATED HOSES

Electric heated hoses engineered to hold temperature, hold pressure, and hold up year after year.

Spraymation electric heated hoses keep hot melt adhesives, sealants, silicones, coatings, and other temperature-sensitive fluids exactly on-spec from the pump to the applicator — with no cold spots, no char, and no viscosity drift along the way. Whether you’re transferring high-viscosity adhesive across a wide-web converting line or delivering precision-metered fluid to a single Electromatic™ head, our industrial heated hose assemblies maintain uniform temperature end to end so the fluid arrives ready to dispense, every cycle, every shift.

The Problem

A heated fluid hose is only as good as its coldest inch.

When a heated transfer hose loses temperature anywhere along its length, the consequences show up downstream: viscosity climbs, flow drops, patterns shift, and the adhesive or coating you carefully heated at the pump arrives degraded at the gun. Cold spots cause char. Uneven heating causes drool and stringing. And a hose that fails — cracked jacket, failed heating element, degraded RTD — takes the whole line down with it.

Most industrial heated hoses are built to a price, not to a service life. Thin jackets, loosely controlled heating, and consumer-grade fittings mean frequent replacement and unpredictable performance.

Spraymation electric heated hoses are specified to the same engineering standard as everything else we deliver: to outlast the equipment around them. A PTFE-lined stainless steel core resists the chemical aggressiveness of modern hot melt and coating formulations. Uniform resistance-wire heating maintains temperature across the entire length with no hot spots and no cold spots. RTD temperature sensing delivers the close control that prevents char and viscosity drift. And matched applicator connectors mean the hose integrates cleanly with your Electromatic™ heads and Thermopulse™ fluid handling — or with the equipment you already have in service.

No cold spots.

Uniform heating along the entire hose length keeps fluid at temperature from pump to applicator — no degradation in transit.

No char buildup.

RTD-controlled heating holds the setpoint precisely, preventing the overheating that degrades adhesives and coatings inside the hose.

No chemical attack.

PTFE-lined stainless steel wetted path stands up to aggressive hot melt, silicone, and coating chemistries.

No premature failure.

Industrial-grade construction and matched connectors built for continuous-duty service, not seasonal replacement.

Benefits

Six layers, engineered from the inside out.

The cross-section that defines every Spraymation heated hose. Each layer earns its place: chemical compatibility, pressure containment, uniform heat distribution, accurate sensing, thermal isolation, and mechanical protection.

[01]

Outer jacket

Industrial-grade protective jacket designed for the abrasion, flex, and routing demands of production environments.

[02]

Insulation

Thermal insulation layer minimizes ambient heat loss, keeps the outer surface safer for operator contact, and improves energy efficiency.

[03]

Resistance heating wire

Uniformly distributed resistance-wire heating delivers even temperature across the full hose length — no cold spots, no hot spots, no degradation in transit.

[04]

RTD temperature sensor

Platinum RTD sensing maintains close, accurate temperature control — the precision that prevents char and viscosity drift.

[05]

Stainless steel braid

High-pressure containment for continuous-duty service up to 2,500 PSI, matched to Spraymation balanced-ratio stainless steel pumps.

[06]

PTFE inner liner

The wetted path — engineered for the chemical aggressiveness of modern hot melt, silicone, sealant, and coating formulations.

Why Spraymation

Built to the same standard as the systems they feed.

01

Uniform end-to-end heating.

Resistance-wire heating distributes evenly across the full hose length — no cold spots to cause viscosity drift, no hot spots to char the fluid.

02

RTD temperature control.

Platinum RTD sensing delivers the close, accurate temperature control that prevents adhesive and coating degradation in transit.

03

PTFE-lined stainless steel core.

A wetted path engineered for the chemical aggressiveness of modern hot melt, silicone, sealant, and coating formulations — and for years of continuous service.

04

Matched to your applicators.

Specified with connectors matched to Electromatic™ heads and Thermopulse™ fluid handling, so the hose integrates as part of a complete, engineered system.

05

Built to your specification.

Length, temperature range, pressure rating, and fittings engineered to your line — not pulled off a shelf and forced to fit.

06

ISO 9001:2015 certified.

FAQ

Common questions about heated hoses.

Quick answers to the questions we get most often about Spraymation electric heated hoses, heated transfer hose construction, and integration with Electromatic™ and Thermopulse™ systems.

Don’t see your question? Our engineering team responds within one business day.

What makes a Spraymation industrial heated hose different from a generic heated hose?

Spraymation electric heated hoses are specified with a PTFE-lined stainless steel core, uniform resistance-wire heating, and RTD temperature sensing for close, accurate control along the entire length. Generic heated fluid hoses often use thinner construction and looser temperature control, which leads to cold spots, char, viscosity drift, and frequent replacement. Many Spraymation heated hoses remain in service for 10+ years in continuous industrial environments — engineered to the same continuous-duty standard as the rest of the dispensing systems they integrate with.

Standard Spraymation heated hoses are rated to 450°F with RTD temperature sensing for precise control. For applications outside that range, our engineering team can specify a heated fluid hose configuration matched to your fluid and process temperature requirements.

Yes. Heated transfer hoses are configured to your specified length, temperature range, pressure rating, and fittings, including multi-hose harnesses for wide-web manifolds and non-standard line geometries. Send us your routing, fluid specification, and connection requirements and we’ll build the assembly to spec.

In most cases, yes. Our heated hoses are specified with matched connectors for Electromatic™ applicators and Thermopulse™ fluid handling, and can be configured with the fittings needed to integrate with equipment already in service from other manufacturers.

Our high-pressure heated fluid hoses are rated for continuous-duty service up to 2,500 PSI, matched to Spraymation stainless steel balanced-ratio pumps. For applications with different pressure requirements, our engineering team can recommend the right configuration for your line.
